Happy Thursday! We’re almost to the weekend!
Tonight we made steak tacos using a locally farmed skirt steak from Clancy’s, Sno-Pac corn, cheese and lettuce all bought at the Co-op and all from Minnesota. The steak cooked up really fast in the broiler. We seasoned it with salt, pepper, garlic salt, chili powder and Caribbean jerk seasonings. You just need a little of each for a little bite, if you like it spicy, go to town.
For toppings we kept it really simple with salsa, cheese, lettuce and corn. It was really quick to put together. I think shredding the cheese and the cooking the steak took about the same amount of time.
