Tonight we kept up our grilling with a couple of juicy ribeye steaks, sauteed mushrooms and salad. I love coming home to the smell of the grill warming up!
To dress up our salad I tried a new recipe for a vinaigrette from the book ‘jam it, pickle it, cure it’. It called for some basic pantry ingredients and made it pretty easy to put together. If you have a mortar and pestle to make it, it’ll make the first few steps a lot easier. Making sure everything is mixed and blended will keep it from separating on you later.
I think this book will make a couple more appearances here. I’ve got a few projects in mind that I can’t wait to try:)
